COACH NAILEN
Scott Nailen, a native of Memphis, joined the Houston coaching staff in 2004, after six years at Germantown and two years at Montgomery Bell Academy as a non-faculty assistant.  During the day, Scott is an investment consultant with Consulting Services Group, LLC, and in the
evenings he is the head coach of the Mustang Youth Wrestling Program.  In high school, Scott was coached by two of the finest coaches in the state of Tennessee, Frank Simpson (Montgomery Bell Academy) and Walt Holmes (Houston High School).  At Kirby, Scott was a 2X Best-of-the-Preps winner and 2X State Medalist, winning a State Championship as a senior.  He went on to wrestle at UT-Chattanooga where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.  Scott is thrilled to be reunited with his former coach and is looking forward
to developing the next generation of Mustang Champions.

Scott and his wife (Meg) have two daughters, Maggy and Libby, and two sons, Nate and Will.  They are members of Grace Evangelical Church. Scott's other interests include competing in triathlons, wakeboarding, and spending time with his family (especially at the lake).
