Coach Fryman has been a part of the Houston Wrestling program since 2000-2001. He is a 2004 graduate of Houston. At Houston he was a 4 year starter and 2 time state qualifier. He was voted to the All-Metro team his senior year, but a freak injury derailed the end of his senior season. He spent 1 year at The University of Tennessee and is now a junior The University of Memphis. His career coaching record is 17-11 with 1 state champion.
